Who we are

Relentify Butler is a service of Relentify Ltd. It is an execution-only admin service: a butler for your household bills and subscriptions (Personal), and an accounts-payable concierge for your business (Business). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We do not give regulated financial, tax or investment advice.

What we collect

• Account data - your name, email address, and the contact details you provide when you sign up.
• Service data - the bills, subscriptions and supplier invoices you hand over: supplier names, account references, tariffs, balances, renewal dates and amounts, so we can act for you on the services you chose.
• Records of what we did - a clear trail of the switches, cancellations, approvals and payments handled on your behalf.
• Usage data - pages visited and features used, collected via PostHog analytics. This helps us improve the product.
• Payment data - your Butler fee is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How we use it

• To run the services you have handed over - contacting your suppliers as your authorised representative, comparing the market, tracking renewals, and arranging switches, cancellations or payments on your instruction.
• To send you the notes that tell you what we did and saved, plus account and billing messages. No marketing unless you opt in.
• To understand how the product is used so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We only collect and share the information needed to run the services you chose, and only with the parties involved:

• Your suppliers and providers - only the details needed to act as your authorised representative on the services you handed over.
• Stripe - to collect your Butler fee.
• PostHog - product analytics.
• Hetzner / our VPS host - infrastructure and data storage.

Your money

Butler never holds or pools your money. On the Personal plan, payments to your suppliers stay on your own bank card or direct debit. On the Business plan, supplier payments are released from a client-funded account held in your own name - Butler moves no money of its own. We record the intent to fund and release; the funds stay yours.

Data protection

We handle your data in line with UK data-protection law. We keep records of what we did on your behalf so you always have a clear trail. Our registration with the Information Commissioner's Office is being finalised as part of launch and will be shown here.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Records of the services we ran and the payments we handled may be retained for up to 7 years to meet legal requirements.

Your rights

You can add or remove a service, end your authority, request a copy of your data, or close your account at any time from inside the Butler app. For anything else, email us at [email protected].

Cookies

We use cookies for analytics (PostHog) and to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising cookies or sell data to third parties.

Changes

We'll update this page if anything material changes. As a draft under review, it is expected to change before launch.
